‘Tis the season – come and join in our festive events

News Article

The countdown to Christmas has already begun and we invite you to join us at one of our festive events.

On Wednesday 5 December, please join us for a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine at out ‘Give a Gift’ festive fundraising day, between 10am and 2pm at our Grays office, Ascension Chambers, Fleming Road, Chafford Hundred.

Each year, Thurrock Council sets up shop at Lakeside in December with a Christmas tree full of stars, each representing a child up to the age of 17 who is either in foster care or under the care of social services.

Each star costs £15, which goes towards ensuring a child receives a Christmas present and we are raising funds to buy as many stars as possible.

During our Give a Gift event we will be holding a raffle to raise funds for the cause.

On Tuesday 11 December, we are inviting you to get into the Christmas Spirit with our annual carol concert, being held at Holy Trinity Church, High Street, Rayleigh. Doors open at 6pm, with the concert beginning at 6.30pm.

The evening, which will raise money for the Polly Parrot Appeal and Rayleigh Town Museum, will feature music from the Gospel Rocks Choir and Aveley and Newham Band. Children from Rayleigh Primary School will also read poems from our Christmas poetry competition.

If you would like to come along to either event please RSVP to Holly Lambert by calling 01268 240000 or by emailing HLambert@palmerslaw.co.uk
